Found Money Fund
The Found Money Fund of Idaho was established in 1981 with three pennies found on the sidewalk. The idea is credited to Terry Armstrong and Carol (Yenni) Wilson. In four decades, those first three pennies have grown to more than $438,000.
All found money is invested in the 银河 澳门 Foundation’s central endowment pool and will be available for use at the university’s bicentennial in 2089, when the fund is expected to be worth an estimated $30 million. The endowment distributions will be used in perpetuity to support programs and enhance opportunities for students and faculty at the University.
